I believe that every woman should have the opportunity to have doula services. To be able to have her birth plan as peaceful, beautiful, natural, and everything she has pictured it to be. Having clients choosing you to be a part of that beautiful experience is truly a gift. Bringing beautiful babies into this world. I want mothers to be as comfortable as can possibly be throughout the whole process, and most of all with me. I believe that financially every woman should have the opportunity to have a doula, if she chooses too, as well. To capture that, and to be there to support is more than a gift for me, and I hope that I can give that to you during our experience together.

Above all, a doula's primary role is to support her client, unconditionally, throughout her pregnancy and birth, and in the postpartum period. As a doula, I never judge or condemn the choices made by a client, but rather, support my client in making informed decisions for herself, regardless of what those decisions may be. Many women mistakenly believe that they do not need a doula if the baby's father will be present for the birth or if they have a birth partner who will attend the birth. A doula does not replace the woman's partner, but compliments their role. Partners often find a doula to be very helpful, offering suggestions, comfort, companionship, reassurance when needed. A doula works with the woman's partner collaboratively in meeting the mother's needs.
